Your Appointment

We take pride in staying on schedule. The time that we reserve for you is yours alone, and so we always appreciate when patients are on time as this helps us stay on schedule.

We will contact you by phone, email or text message three weeks before your appointment as a courtesy to remind you about your reservation with us. Two days prior to your reserved appointment we will call, email or text message you to confirm your appointment. You must confirm your appointment to keep your reserved time. If we have not received confirmation at least 24 hours in advance we will cancel your appointment and call and let you know you will need reschedule.

If you are not currently receiving a text message or email appointment reminder from us, but would like to, please just let us know you would like to change your communication preferences with us at your next appointment.

Honoring Appointment Times

At Koenigsknecht Dentistry we value your time and try to provide timely treatment for all of our patients. It is important for you and your family to arrive 5 minutes prior to your reserved appointment time. Late arrival to appointments disrupts the schedule and impacts other patients. Cancelling appointments with short notice (less than 24 hours of notice) and not showing up for appointments takes away time from other patients who would like to be seen. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, we have a missed appointment policy to minimize consistent issues. The policy below applies individually to each member of a family.

If any of the following occurs within a 1 year period you will be required to pay $75 before we will reschedule any appointment:

  • 2 missed appointments with no prior notice
  • 2 cancellations with less than 24 hours notice
  • Any combination of the above

We also reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are late.
