Implants are used to replace a missing tooth without having to alter other teeth or attach it to other teeth. A titanium screw is placed into the patient’s jaw bone and a crown is placed. This gives the patient a permanent prosthetic tooth that functions just like a real tooth. Implants can also make loose dentures feel more stable.
